Whether you work at Great Ormond Street Hospital, you're visiting someone there or you're in Bloomsbury for an appointment, it helps to know where you can sit down for a proper meal nearby. Nonòs Judd Street, our Greek Mediterranean kitchen and bar at 112 Judd Street, London WC1H 9NT, is about a kilometre from the hospital, roughly a 12-minute walk.
The walk
From Great Ormond Street, head up to Guilford Street and walk west past Coram's Fields to Brunswick Square. From there, go north up Hunter Street, which runs straight into Judd Street. Nonòs is at number 112, on the way towards King's Cross St Pancras.
Our second restaurant, Nonòs Russell Square at 59 Marchmont Street, WC1N 1AP, is a little closer, at around 10 minutes on foot. Its opening hours are still being finalised, so call 020 7837 5054 or check the Russell Square page before you go.
Open from early
Judd Street opens at 08:30 every day, and breakfast is served until 12:00. That might be the Nonòs Full English, poached eggs and avocado on sourdough, shakshuka, or Greek yoghurt with nuts, honey and fruit. There's coffee from espresso to a Freddo Cappuccino, plus fresh orange juice and smoothies. See the breakfast menu for the full list.
Lunch and dinner
From noon, the à la carte menu runs until close: 22:00 Sunday to Wednesday and 23:00 Thursday to Saturday. A few dishes that make a filling, comforting meal:
- Soup of the Day, freshly made and served with pitta bread. Ask your server what it is today.
- Beef Moussaka, or the Vegetarian Moussaka (V).
- Chicken Skewer (GF), marinated and grilled with peppers, served with fries and salad.
- Grilled Salmon (GF), with roasted new potatoes, seasonal greens and salsa verde.
- Souvlaki Wraps, with chicken, pork or halloumi, Monday to Thursday from 12 to 5pm.
