Family meals need generous plates, food children will actually eat, and staff who do not mind a busy table. Nonòs is our family-run Greek restaurant and bar at 112 Judd Street, five minutes from King's Cross St Pancras, and guests often bring parents, children and grandparents together here. Siobhan called us perfect for a family dinner or date night.
(Siobhan B., Google review). We are built for that mix.
A taverna table that works for mixed ages
Tom felt almost like you weren't in the centre of London, but a traditional Greek Taverna.
(Tom E., Google review). That atmosphere helps when you have little ones and grandparents at the same table. Victor came for a birthday with his family: We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Nono's. Excellent service, terrace atmosphere and Greek food.
(Victor M. J., Google review). Tell us when you book if it is a birthday; the team likes looking after those tables.
Maya on Tripadvisor liked attentive but not hovering staff
(Maya F., Tripadvisor review) — useful when you need a high chair sorted quickly, then space to talk. Anoli found Fast service even though the restaurant was full, delicious dishes. A truly good time!
(anoli, Tripadvisor review). Acker called Nonòs a complete package. Food, wine, ambience, service, value for money.
(Acker, Tripadvisor review) — the package families notice when everyone leaves happy.
What families usually order
Start with mezze to share: Nonòs' Meze for 2 (hummus, tzatziki, tyrokafteri, Greek salad, olives and pitta), plus halloumi fries, filo triangles, or baked feta pastry with honey and sesame. Ezio wrote: Personally, I had never tasted such a delicious hummus before.
(Ezio S., Google review). M. C. D. was Really pleasantly surprised with the crispy homemade freshly cut chips.
(M. C. D., Google review) — chips and pitta usually win the younger seats.
From the grill, chicken souvlaki, lamb chops, beef kofta or the Mixed Grill Feast feed a hungry table. Tom recommended the chicken skewers (Souvlaki).
(Tom E., Google review). Katie called hers maybe my favorite chicken skewer of all time.
(Katie H., Google review). Tina's line still holds: The food, especially anything off the grill, is so flavourful and fresh and the portions are generous.
(Tina, Google review). Thomas found the mixed meat platter for one enough for 3 person.
(Thomas K., Google review) — handy when teenagers arrive hungrier than planned. Full dishes are on our menus page.
Vegetarian and vegan options include vegetarian moussaka, halloumi, slow-roasted Mediterranean vegetables and a vegan souvlaki with Quorn at lunch on weekdays. Gluten-free items are clearly marked; Tess noted the GF items are very clearly marked! The staff is very aware of allergies
(Tess R., Google review), and Debbie on Tripadvisor praised excellent gluten free options
(debbiew287, Tripadvisor review). Tell us about allergies when you book or when you sit down.
Brunch with the family
Breakfast runs 8:30–12:00: Nonòs Full English, Hash Benedict, shakshuka with chickpeas and warm pitta, French toast, Greek yoghurt, omelettes. Jul found the shakshuka warm, comforting, and had that homemade, hearty feel
(Jul, Google review). Weekend brunch is popular — book if you can. Finish with baklava or Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts if anyone still has room.

- Terrace: pavement tables when the weather is good — Victor specifically mentioned the terrace atmosphere.
