Brunch in King's Cross Without the Queue

The brunch places around Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard are good and they are also full. By eleven on a Saturday you are looking at a wait, and the wait is outdoors.

Judd Street runs differently. It is residential, set back from the main road, and the weekend arrives here about an hour later and considerably calmer.

Greek brunch, which is not a gimmick

Greek cooking is unusually well suited to the middle of the day. It is built on olive oil, vegetables, grains, eggs, yoghurt and grilled things, which is more or less exactly what a good brunch is made of anyway.

So there is no awkward translation here. Avocado dishes, halloumi, eggs, Greek yoghurt with honey, and the mezze that work as well at noon as at eight.

The breakfast menu is here.

We open at 8:30

Every day. Which makes us useful for both ends: the person catching a 10am train, and the person who is not going to be upright before midday.

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 08:30 to 22:00
  • Thursday to Saturday: 08:30 to 23:00

Where to sit

Ground floor for light and quiet. Lower floor for a group. Say which you want when you book and we will hold it.
